Starting Friday, July 24, 2015, at 10pm PDT, ending Saturday, July 25, 2015, 2am PDT, the Shippo service will be set to maintenance mode to perform a database migration. During this time, neither the website nor the API will be available.

We are migrating our database from Heroku to AWS. This change will allow us to increase our database resources to accomodate the scale of the service, as well as better handle peak volumes. We will furthermore migrate some related backend modules, thus reducing the dependency on Heroku modules.

We are aware that this affects your application and shipping process, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our engineering team is happy to answer any questions you may have - feel free to reach out to api@goshippo.com anytime.
